grieving journey
Everyone grieves at their own pace and there is no limit to ways and time for grief.
I tried different outlets to help me, including personal therapy, energy therapy, reading, watching movies, meditation, etc. They all come to one value - to be kind to yourself. If you need to cry, please cry. I cried and will cry as much and as long as I need to because this is what I need.
Here are some of the things that helped me on my journey (besides the support of my own family and friends):
*Professional therapy
* Book "The Wilderness of Suicide Grief: Finding Your Way." By Alan Wolfelt.
* Book "The Language of Loss. Poetry and Prose for Grieving and Celebrating the Love of Your Life." Edited by Barbara Abercrombie.
* Kari Browning at https://newrenaissance.us/
* Meditation with Boho Beautiful Meditation at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLb09q0R7gAwQ3ou1lUWZcJZEtgNeoJNJf
* Affirmations
* Self-help podcasts (Katie Byron, Brene Brown, Brooke Castillo, etc.)
* Nature walks and hikes
* Bath and Sauna
* Aromatherapy and candles
* Massage/SPA
* Music
* Creativity and writing
* Sleep and naps
* Playing with a pet
* Cuddling and playing board games with my kids
* Ashwagandha capsules
* Herbal tea
* Fresh cut flowers in my favorite vase

Please share with me what helped or helping you on your grieving journey.
HUGS,
Dana
